Sarwat Giilani wished to become a filmmaker after finishing her studies from the Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture, but little did she know that her little fame and her desirable curls would land her in the glitzy world of showbiz. She did not harbor dreams of fame and acclaim in any way associated with the performing arts. It all began with the fateful day, when she went to collect her sister from location where she was busy getting a commercial recorded. It was here that Sarwat was noticed and the next thing she knew she was asked to audition for a soap commercial since they needed a young girl in her teens. So it basically started from there. Then I kept on acquiring offers on and off. That set the ball rolling for Sarwat Gilani. She cites her first media experience as, Very exciting. I couldn’t wait for the ad to be aired. Sarwat’s is not the usual tale of ‘always wanting to be in the limelight.’ She was not aspiring to be a model, let alone an actor.

Sarwat Gilani got critical acclaim with her performance in her debut drama serial Tere Jaane Ke Baad and soon became a known face in Pakistani television industry.

I also noticed that every young girl must have a mobile phone and these girls are usually keep them selves busy in mobile SMS chat, calling to their boyfriends, same as Tamil boys calling to their girlfriends. This is a very bad trend started among young generation; in this way they loosing interest in their studies and other social and out door sports activities. This is also no comparison between Punjabi girls with Tamil girls as a data for our online friends.
